So I KNOW that it's probably the dumbest idea ever to bleach your own hair, but I'm a broke fifteen year old girl with roots that make me want to scream. I first got my hair bleached and dyed for my birthday gift but I haven't had it bleached or dyed since (about 3 months ago and my hair has grown out about 1.5 inches). My bleached hair is probably a level 8(?) I believe while my roots are probably a level 5(?). I know that you shouldn't normally bleach the roots and rest of your hair at the same time, but since there is such a difference between the colors, should I? (Btw I'm trying to get my already-bleached hair to a level 10 because I'm putting a pastel lavender on it soon). Much thanks ladies and gentleman! (Excuse my face below but it was the only pic I had that shows my regrowth as well as the bleached hair)

Hailey P. - here you go, it's a better picture of my roots and hair. It's kinda gross because I haven't washed it in a few days in prep for bleaching it. There is still a little residual color after I used a color remover, but not that much.

I strongly recommend you do them separately. Left on too long, your hair will overprocess, and you run the risk of severe damage. You should do your roots and the rest of your hair separately. Enlist the help of a friend to help you with your roots so you don't overlap onto your already bleached hair.
