If I were you I would use an anti dandruff shampoo once a week, follow by a deep conditioner if the shampoo leaves your hair dry. The shampoo will gradually remove the color because it's ingredients.

I forgot to add that my favored color to dye on the bottom half of my hair would be a light brown or something in that range. Would I need to follow up with any bleach or specific developer to attain my desired color? Any colors you'd recommend?

Also, I recently purchased Remy 18" extensions. Can I use the color remover on these extensions and expect them to not deteriorate? lol
And may I dye them the same way I dye my hair without a disaster happening?

So I have been hair dyeing my hair jet black from Ion box dye I purchase from Sally's since the end of October. So I have about 6 boxes of jet black box dye since October ( 2 boxes per use) lol. Black is a hard color to get rid of so I'm kind of tired of this color and want to pull out the color creating a ombre on ny hair. Dark to light tips. Which successful, color remover do you recommend? And any tips on getting that ombre look?

I want to learn how to do my hair so I actually want to take this matter in my own hands even if risk is at hand lol.

My hair has been living at the salon too long that I need to give my wallet a break. Thanks ladies (:.
