I wear Born This Way and I have combo/oil skin and use a matte primer and matte setting spray but on my nose , the foundation is very spotty and obvious that it is there.

Maybe you need to exfoliate in that area more.

I also use Born that Way. But I also use use Estee Lauder Double Wear MAXIMUM Coverage foundation just on my nose. Not exactly for the problem you're having. I wear glasses, so my makeup can wear away a little bit there. I chose the maximum coverage over the regular double wear because even though it has more coverage than the regular double wear, it's actually a thinner texture than the regular double wear. It has more of a thin oily, silicony feel (although it dries down to a matte finish, which I don't like on my face, but don't mind on my nose) as opposed to the regular double wear's, lotion/cream texture. The thinner texture of the Max Cov, doesn't cake up like a thicker cream/lotion foundation. I'd get a sample before buying.

Forgot to mention, the Max Cov adheres better to the skin than the regular double wear.

I had this same problem. I went a got a facial, had some blackheads extracted and a microdermabrasion treatment and started exfoliating regularly and properly moisturizing before makeup application and my makeup looked smooth on my nose.

But I think rubbing it off is best.

I usually blend out my foundation on my nose with my finger instead of my brush or beauty blender

Before applying the foundation you should put Mac Fix Plus on your skin then applying your foundation and apply the max fix plus again it makes everything settle into the skin and make the foundation look less powdery and cakey and streaky. I use it now all the time look on my channel maybe it'll help you out. www.Youtube.com/Genuinebeautyxox
