My acne is finally starting to go away, yet I have really noticeable dark spots on my face! Does anyone know something that can help get rid of them?? I'd appreciate it! Keep in mind my skin gets oily and dry easily.

Exfoliate and use SPF. I've also added a vitamin e oil to my skincare routine and I've noticed an improvement in my dark spots (:

Vitamin C serum, a glycolic acid toner and sunscreen EVERYDAY. It can take years to fade discolorations and the sun can reverse all your work in one day. I also wear a hat if I'm going to be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Another thing no one really talks about. Birth Control pills...if you take them, they can cause melasma for a lot of women, esp. ethnic skintones. I learned that the hard way. It will creep up on you. But with practicing what I preach, my skin is getting better every year.
