I have the same problem. Exfoliate with a mix of Olive oil & baking soda once a week. Than in between use coconut oil to moisturize. It it gets really bad your doc can give you a prescription for eczema like triacinoclone.

The cetaphyl cream (in a tub with blue cap) is great for severely dry skin. When my eczema is acting up I find lotions to be drying (evaporate too quickly). Honestly, if it is eczema, you need a dermotologist. The severe itch/scratch cycle can be soothed by moisturizing, but often needs topical medication. Also, if its eczema don't use scrubs or exfoliants it'll make it worse.

Yes, I agree with the other ladies too Cetaphil & aloe are good too. I've also heard drinking the aloe juice can be wonderful for the skin. It tastes a bit funky though. :)

I was prescribed so many things for my eczema from my dermatologist... Nothing worked. I got organic cocoanut oil & it instantly cleared it up. It comes solid, but turns to liquid in your hands. I used it twice a day
