Kathryn R.
My freelance business is finally growing, and I need to decide on a name. Here's why I need help- my web address is my name, kathrynannmakeupartist.com. But I was on the news recently to do a makeup demo and I realized how hard that long web address can be to catch. And they just listed my business as "Makeup by Kathryn". If someone plugged that into google, they would never find me. My FB makeup page says Kathryn Ann, Pro MUA. So there's my dilemma. How can I advertise to where people can google and find me? ALSO, should I give my business a title or leave it as my name? Do any of you know of one generates more success than the other? PLUS, it's been near impossible for me to find a name that isn't already taken and will appear in a Google search first. I've come up with around 50 names and they're all taken. Can anyone give me some advice on this? My thought right now is to find a good, permanent name, and then create a web address with that name that leads to my current webpage. HALP ME!!
