I'm not sure if this is in the right category but what is the best way to clean silver rings/necklaces?

Ketchup... no lie haha. use it on my Alex and anis. if you're talking the kind of jewelry that turns green or maybe rusts, I've put clear nail polish on my cheaper rings in the past to protect them.

Cleaning cloth for silver. Or line a container with crumbled aluminum paper, add a tablespoon of salt, and a tablespoon of baking soda. Add the silver and enough boiling water to cover the jewelry. Let the water cool and remove the jewelry rinse it in cold water and wipe them with a cotton cloth. But don't use this method to clean jewelry with stones, diamonds, nor pearls.

To add to the last comment, add a splash of vinegar to the baking soda - it helps break down any dirt but doesn't leave a weird residue. But this is best for plain silver, no stones!
