Which eye cream do you recommend for my 30-year-old daughter? She had skin on the oily side.

I'm 28 and I just switched to Biotherm aquasource eye cream and I really like it! It's a gel consistency, feels a little cooling on the skin and is formulated to be used both under the eyes and on the lids which I love!

I use Murad, I like it but I haven't tried much else so I can't give too much advice here. Saying hello too!

@ Sabrina, thank you! Is it moisturizing?
@ Kathryn, Hi! Thank you!

Yes of cause :) And the gel consistency would probably work good for a girl with oily skin!

Great, thanks Sabrina!

What are her concerns? Darkness, puffiness, wrinkling or anti-aging (prevention of premature aging )?
Jan 19, 2016
Chris M.
All of those, Marlene! Any such thing?

There are two I suggest. Although your daughter has oily skin, I find that even oily skinned girls are a little dry under the eyes. In saying that I am suggesting Clinique All About Eyes which is a cool, light refreshing gel/cream product. And also Shiseido Beneficence which is a more richer, emollient cream. Everyone has different preferences, so that's why I suggested two different types of eye creams. Another option is that she can use the Clinique in the am and the Shiseido in the pm.

Great, it seems as though the Clinique one is a very popular one. Thank you!

@Sabrina, what kind of store carries Biotherm (drugstore, beauty supply, medical office...)?

I love algenist eye renewel balm. It's very thick but sinks in and doesn't cause any problems for my oily skin.

Chris unfortunately I don't know where to find Biotherm in the states. In my country we have it at our beauty supply stores and at department stores :) I'm sure a quick Google search of your area will tell you where you can find it :)

Sabrina, I believe we may not carry it here any more...?! I could get it through Amazon, but think I'd rather choose something more available. Thank you!

Your right it does look like it's not sold in the US anymore, I'm sorry I didn't know that when I recommend it! Hope you will find something else for your daughter!

Chris, I think at that age the Clinique All About Eyes would be a suitable and affordable choice. It also comes in a "rich" formula if she needs an extra boost (especially in winter).

Thank you, Tina! That's the consensus I get...:)
