I need help with this skirt how should I wear it and what kind of top should I wear.

A white or black crop top with a statement necklace would be real cute. Add some platforms or sandles. Or, you could do a tank top with a black leather jacket and some heeled boots. This is really something you can make edgy or refined. For the crop top I'd recommend wearing it pulled up to cover your stomach or tuck in the tank top for the other outfit. No matter what you do, you should stick to solid and neutral colors like a light brown, white, or black. Don't pick anything that would take away from the skirt.
