What are some good cruelty free hair, skin, and makeup beauty brands. I am looking to go vegetarian and I want to transition my makeup collection to strictly cruelty free makeup brands. I am looking for brands I can get in the US.

Kat Von D has some vegan make up I believe. Her makeup line is going vegan since she is vegan also & I think that's awesome! 👍🏼

100% pure, Alima pure, Andalou, afterglow cosmetics... I know a lot more bc I have narrowed my collection down for this and for organic reasons. Are there any brands in particular you would like to know? If so, I would love to help :)

Thank you everyone 💕 How about Lorac? I just own so many Lorac palettes which I love and I'd hate to get rid of!

My favorite cruelty free brands: Urban Decay, Kat von D, Wet n Wild, Makeup Geek, Colourpop, Lorac, NARS, and Sugarpill. Keep in mind, a lot of these brands have a parent company that is NOT cruelty free, but I think it's important to show support to cruelty free subbrands. But do your research, decide which route you'd like to go :)

I heard someone say once that they wouldn't want to be judged by there parents, so don't judge the company by the parent company. It's really up to you what route you want to take, there are a lot of different opinions

Yes Kyla I agree, but if the buying from a brand is somewhat supporting a parent company that does animal testing, it seems slightly contradicting, and not the cause that some people are looking for. So if you can support a brand that is completely cruelty free then I believe that is a little more fulfilling. I also heard that Urban Decay is cruelty free... But there is a catch. China requires for all cosmetic products o be tested on animals before consumers buy it, so in order to keep business with China and the regulations, many brands are forced to do animal testing.

I also believe that a person and a company aren't similar and comparable. It's a policy versus someone's actions that a child might not have control over. It's also money versus a human beings conscious. I'm sorry, but I had to say that.

I'm sorry, that was a lot harsher than I meant it to be, I'm just incredibly passionate about animal testing, like watching videos and reading articles have made it a priority for my makeup standards. I do want to say on a more positive note that a lot of bigger companies are trying to come up with material that react like human skin does, so that they can eliminate animal testing altogether. Also, switching over to products and brands that are cruelty free is very refreshing and fulfilling. Again, my apologies to Kyla K, and Molly S.
