I hear about imats everywhere and know that a lot of brands attend but what is it really?

I went to IMATS NYC last year. it was a fantastic experience. as Jacqueline said, learn the floor plan. it is easy to lose your mind and go completely bazerk and forget your plan of action and spend all your money in an hour. I was able to attend pro day on Friday and IMO that was the best. lines were minimal and everything was in stock. discounts are insane, makeup forever was like 40% off!! saturday was insane and honestly I only stayed there for about an hour before running around the city. it's a fantastic experience, not only for the makeup shopping but for sightseeing as well. there are classes and artist doing special effects makeup (that was the best). if you have a chance you definitely need to go. just make sure you save that cash! I spent a TON of money there last year.
