Powder foundation for dry skin?

Hi!

It's been a while that I wanted to ask this. I heard mineral powder foundation works on dry skin.

Is that true?

If yes, I want to try.
I have pale cool yellow skin with olive undertones.
Can you advise me products that would work for me?

I have extremely dry skin and I haven't had great luck with it. In summer when my skin is just dry not crazy flaky dry, Bare Minerals works well for me. I only stopped using it bc the coverage was very light and my skin is kind of pretty bad.

I have vitiligo on the face, which is why I first got into makeup. I'm very pale so in winter you don't see a thing, but in summer I'm bi-color and nothing covers. So I guess no luck then...

Cream is actually better for dry skin and mineral powder is better for oily.
