So I recently got the too faced born this way foundation. Ivory was a perfect match for my uber pale winter skin. It gave me a smooth even coverage without clinging to my dry patches or emphasizing any fine lines or the large pores on my nose and chin. I also adore that it is medium-full coverage and not matte. I loved it. for about 4 hours. and then it was like it wasn't even there. all my unevenness and redness and scars were showing through. it didn't look patchy like when a foundation seperates, it just disappeared. I was wearing it over smashbox photo finish primer and set it with urban decays all nighter spray. I also tried it with the same primer and elfs setting powder instead of the UD spray and I also tried it without any primer or setting spray/powder and couldn't get more than 4-5 hours of wear. I'm wondering if anyone has had any similiar experiences, or the polar opposite experience, and what primers/methods of setting did you use? I really want to like this foundation, but I feel like in this day and age 6-8 hours is the minimum expected for a higher end product and I can't justify the price if it just doesn't look good for long.

I always hated born this way for that reason. I felt like its great if I wasn't spending the whole day out but if I was gone for more than about 4 hours my makeup was just gone. I've tried it paired with everything and I just can't deal. So you aren't alone!

Well that's a bit of a relief. lbs. I don't even have oily skin so this was not something I was used to at all.
