I was recently using Mac studio fix for my foundation but I realIzed it caused a lot of acne. Now I use the tarte Amazonian clay foundation and it's way better. Anyway, do you guys have any products such a bronzers, highlighter, foundations that don't cause break outs.

Mac foundation is actually known for causing breakouts, I'm not sure if it's something in their specific formula or not, but it's a very common issue. Is the Tarte still making you break out?


Normally products don't cause breakouts unless your skin is super sensitive or you're allergic to a specific ingredient; have you thought about trying to figure out what ingredient you're sensitive to? It varies from person to person, for example a lot of people are allergic to talcum powder which appears in many makeup products. But, once you know the ingredient you can look up the ingredients in products you're interested in to see if you can use them!

However, if your skin already broke out due to exposure to a product, and you keep putting more product on top of your blemishes instead of treating them, they'll never get better. What's your skincare routine like?
