Hello, lovely people! I've had a HUGE problem with acne and never able to get fully rid of it. Even when it's close to clearing, I still have whiteheads in between my eyebrows and on my chin. I just don't know what to do. I've tried S O M A N Y P R O D You C T S. Products that are holy grail for many (Ex: Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash (the orange one)) irritate my skin and break me out very badly. I was hoping I could have some recommendations on products that will clear my skin. Right now, I'm using this skin care set called P.R.E.P. for Girls and has not cleared my skin in the just about 4 weeks I've been consistently using it, day and night. So, I'm very desperate. Haha. I have oily skin. Please help.

When I had severe acne My dermatologist recommended me to use cetaphil cleanser in the morning. Then at night time she recommended to use 5% Benzol peroxide facial wash (clean&clear has a good one) then top it off with a good moisturizer day and night. If you have any large spots you can use Benzol peroxide cream! :)

These brands have worked for me - paulas choice, Mario badescu, and I also use natural based products with tea tree oil and witch hazel - they work well for my acne - paulas choice and Mario badescu have products for all skin types / including sensitive skin - which is what I have on top of acne - and their acne products are gentle enough to not irritate my skin but strong enough to keep the acne away - hope that helps! But honestly your best bet is to see a dermatologist - a professional will give you the best products for your specific skin type and concerns.

Right now, I have almost completely cleared my cystic acne by using the clean and clear morning burst moisturizing wash, and then using aloe Vera as a moisturizer, with benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. I found that it works best if you knew your skin super hydrated and very rarely use actual acne products, in order to cut down on oil. I also had problems with irritation from the orange neutrogena acne wash, but this seems to work a lot better :) good luck!!
