I'm looking for a good drug store foundation for barely starting to wear makeup that still covers nice! I use Mac's Prep+Prime Beauty Balm right now and it's pretty patchy on me. I have combination skin as well do something that works for that! Thanks!(:

I would say L'Oreal True Match is a great drugstore foundation! It has very buildable coverage and it's very easy to blend out! There's a wide selection of shades too so it'll be easy to find one that matches you! :)

I personally love Maybelline Fit Me foundation for everyday wear. One of the most inexpensive drug store foundations you can find in stores. Very light weight, light to medium coverage, but is buildable. I use the Matte and Poreless since I have extremely oily skin. but they also have one with a Dewy finish. This foundation isn't long wearing, but it's great for everyday.

Loreal true match is better for those that are on the combination side.
It's not too matte and not overly dewy like the matte+Poreless or the fit me dewy.
The L'orèal true match isn't right inbetween, it lean more matte but not as matte as the Maybelline one

Loreal true match is great and easy to use. Loreal infallible pro glow is also really nice. it's very easy to work with and has a nice satin finish.

I wouldn't fit with maybeline fit me. It creases even if you set it and every time I would smile it would create false wrinkles

I personally use BB cream because its super light and affordable. But I would go for light weight because too heavy can make you look cakey. Maybelline fit me, Revlon colorstay (if your looking for longer wear), or L'Oreal true match because of the different shade options! Hope this helps!

I also like the Black Radiance foundation. It's good for beginners with mediums to full coverage.

I agree with L'Oreal True Match or Pro Glow. Both give me really nice finishes and give good coverage. They don't dry out my skin and they last throughout the day. The Maybelline fit me matte and poreless dries out my skin too much. I'm currently using the L'Oreal Pro Glow for my everyday foundation.
