Hello everyone! Today I received three concealers from LA Girl Cosmetics and I don't think I like them, but I also might be using them wrong and am looking for some advice. I got the orange and green concealers, as well as the color "natural," which I didn't open/use as the color is nowhere near my skin tone, their swatches on their website are not very accurate. Anywho- I have the orange for my dark under eyes and the green for my mild rosacea. I used them under my medium/full coverage foundation (Tarte Amazonian clay 12 hr foundation in color medium sand) and my concealer (MUFE ultra HD in r22.) When I applied the orange I noticed a little goes a long way, but not the case for the green. I blended them in with a damp beauty blender which I found the green doesn't blend very well. I applied my foundation over it with a different beauty blender , which didn't cover up the green very well and the orange just kind of. I noticed the green made my foundation look cakey and somewhat patchy in the areas I tried to correct. My concealer covered everything up. When I was done I noticed the orange didn't really cover up the darkness and it looked creased. I've never had this problem before hand. I should also add I primed my face beforehand with Too Faced Hangover RX. Any tips? So many MUA use this product so I was surprised it was such a flop for me...

I personally don't like the concealers for facial use. I find them too moist and creamy, which leaves a cakey finish. I prefer a drier formula in a compact which I thin out for facial use. Although I do love the LA Girl concealer (skintone color) for dark circles. I use NUDE which already has a peachy undertone. Everyone is different though. A lot of girls use them to highlight and contour. But I don't like a lot of layers on my skin. Not a good look for me.
