Hey girls, so I have pretty dark cercles and I think that says it all aha.
I've seen so many tutorial, tip and tricks and tried them but none seem to work.
I use the L.A color corrector concealer in the shade orange (sometimes MAC duo concealer) and for my normal concealer I use the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer or the NYX (the one in the pot, I forgot the name sorry).
Even with the L.A corrector, which is literally orange, I can still see my dark cercles on the 2/3 of my under eye area.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I know what one person does might not work for an other so I have to find my own thing.
Okay it does cover them but I've never achieved a flawless under eye.
Do you guys have any tricks and tips that might work?
Thanks :*

I find you can always see a slight bit of darkness no matter what you do. Images you see on Instagram (for example) are heavily edited so you'll never achieve the perfectly flawless undereyes with no texture or darkness you see there.
If I want really well covered dark circles I use the YSL colour corrector or Bobbi Brown one under my foundation (which is patted on top rather than rubbed) and then add an illuminating concealer such as the Charlotte Tilbury Retoucher. This covers my dark circles best but you can always see a bit of darkness. I'm not one for really full coverage though so this might be quite minimal for some people.
Are you dealing with completely flat dark circles with no texture or are you dealing with dry skin or raised bags under the eyes? As this may also affect techniques and products that would be best for you?

Well I have dry skin, slightly textured but I don't have raised bags, I do have slight dent with my under eye ends and my cheeks start.

If you've got a "dent" then your face may naturally cast a shadow on this area so you might be covering the area but the darkness you're seeing is this shadow.
Do you have a picture of what you're trying to achieve and maybe a picture of what your undereyes look like at the moment with the makeup products you're using?

I agree with Rebecca on how no matter the concealer and corrector you still see slightly under eye darkness. Ugh! I hate mine! I have tried the Bobbie brown corrector along with concealer and I can still see them. Simran, mine look almost like yours and unfortunately mine are hereditary. I have found though that using and under eye cream helps brighten them up a little, since the area looks hydrated. I am currently using IT cosmetics tube, it has a brighter on one end that you applied first and the concealer on the other end that you apply last. I have been using this one for a good 8 months and it's been the best so far for me.

Yanin, sadly mine are hereditary too.
(Excuse the picture I juste took it.)

Sometimes the darkness under your eyes can be a slightly different color, and may require a different color corrector. I have a little redness towards the outer part of my undereye, for example.
By the way, you're absolutely beautiful! :)

Hi how are you Simran B. I want to no how you apply :) please do you use your fingers for patting motion or blend like wiping with the orange concealer I agree it's very orangey I warm it up in the back of my hand light dap and lightly pat under my eyes and also my lid in the inner I then go in with Laura mercier secret camouflage sc2 palette mix the two concealers one yellow toned and one pink and then with the beautyblender or oval brush I go in and blend the edges not we're I did the work I use my middle finger lightly dab and use Laura mercier translucent powder to set it another alternative of orange that I loved bobbibrown bisque corrector is for medium dark skintones I liked that one its almost a salmon shade not to orange and that one did wonders :D

Hey sorry for the late reply,
Leuca, I never actually thought to try two different color correctors thanks! :)
Elsa, when I use the orange corrector and cover it up, everything looks orange. I don't know if it's because I don't wait for it enough to set or not. I put some on my under eye (where it's the darkest) and let it set for 15s then I blend outwards with my finger (with tapping motions). Then I cover it up with regular concealer but my whole under eye area appears orange. It's definitely not the corrector showing though, it's my concealer mixing with my corrector so I always end up putting a ton of concealer. Pretty annoying and cakey really.

SailorMoon, I'll might give the bobby brown one a try. As for the "technique" I use to conceal is exactly what you suggested I do. I'll try a new conceal :)

I agree with the others, the Bobbie Brown corrector is amazing! Since you're tan and it seems like you pull more yellow you should try the "dark peach" it's not as orange as the LA girl corrector. I've never had an issue with it mixing with the concealer when applying it on a client.
