I'm a junior in hs, and I was wondering if foundation istoo much for school, with some mascara? I don't feel like adding blush or bronzer, I kinda wanna keep it simple. Also is adding blush and bronzer a must? Thanks!

I think foundation alone without blush or bronzer to add a little color can look a little off. If you're looking for minimal makeup with a little coverage and evening out your skin tone you should try a BB or CC cream :)

I agree with Dana E. use a bb/cc cream which will give you definitively minimal coverage. For me at least blush is still valuable. I like to use it lightly so I don't look like a clown but it can really make you look more alive if you pick the right one. I don't know much about bronzer I don't use it, but it may be like blush where it gives you more life. If you choose to use foundation than blush is really important. If you feel like blush/bronzer is too much BB/CC cream is a good option because it doesn't take away your natural flush. However, do whatever is comfortable for you!

Thank you ladies! Since I have darker skin, I honestly don't know how to pick out the right shade of blush that will give more color to my face and look natural.

I think that since you have darker skin that you should use more of a mauvey shade of blush so it would be subtle while still giving color. Depending on what color payoff you would want, I would suggest cream blush for more pigment and powder blush for more sheer.

In Asia a lot of women like that brighter skin look so they usually get a foundation of BB cream that matches and skip the blush and bronzer. Adding blush or bronzer isn't a must, it's more of a preference. In the US a lot of people like blush but meh, personally not my thing.
I think a little bit of kajal will help finish up the look though, you don't need a lot you could just do the tightlining (lining your upper waterline) and even adding some in your lower waterline.
From your last photo I noticed you have some golden tones with a medium dark depth so if you really want a blush I'd suggest using a blush that has a bit of brown in it so that you don't have to worry about adding too much and it just leaves a sheer wash of color. I saw a video on YouTube which gave makeup tips for Indian skintones and recommended those same type of shades.
I know more people would suggest a very pigmented bright color so that it'll show up on the skin better but honestly, blush should just be a sheer wash of color, I don't think it should look like you have blush and it shouldn't be all that noticeable in my opinion, plus those bold pigmented types can easily be overdone
Here's a pic from online. I think the whole second row and the sunbasque? Shade would all look good so I'd either get one of these or use it as a guide to find a shade that's similar to one of them. I think the L'orèal true match blushes may have a shade or two that's quite similar.

BB cream is good, I used to wear it in Junior High. I say foundation is good too, as long as you get something suited for your skin & bled correctly so you don't look too cakey. Also don't put on way to much eyeliner or false lashes to keep it more natural.

I'm a junior this year. I wear makeup (a lot) becuase I love the promote myself (YouTuber, makeup artist.. Kinda? Lol) I would say that a low coverage matte foundation would look very very natural.. Mascara, and even if you like to do your eyebrows. Maybe a little of blush and taps of highlighter would look very natural.. Bb cream is great!! But for me it doesn't work, my skin gets oily even though I have combined skin.

I have darker skin so I know the struggle of finding the right blush all these are great ideas but in the end pick the one you think will look best on you. You know your skin better than anyone! Good luck and explore! ;-)

I used a cc cream and it was perfect for school! I just put a brow tint, cc cream, blush and a little bit of mascara and I was good to go!!
