Good products/tips for keeping matte all day long?

So I posted a few days ago asking what foundation I should buy for concert wear (I ended up buying the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation) but I was wondering what other things I can buy (powder, primer, etc.) to help keep me matte for as long as possible or just tips for keeping myself matte. Thank you!

The Mac studio fix is great and lasts all day, you could even wear it alone if you wanted. But I just learned that it can cause breakouts 😬😬

I'm someone that's always had super oily skin, oils will eventually break through and cause shininess.

Studio Fix Fluid is great but since you already have a foundation I'd check out the Smashbox Photo Finish LIGHT.
A lot of people confuse it for the original one which is clear and has a gel texture plus it's silicone based.
The light formula looks similar in the squeeze tube but has more of a white tint, it's water based and is very lightweight/non greasy.
Definitely works better than the original for those with oily skin.

Now, if you're wanting something that helps keep you matte as well as minimize pores the smashbox pore Minimizer is great, the porefessional from benefit works okay but it's more for normal skin, so I prefer the smashbox one.

You can buy the travel size ones which are $16 at ULTA or Sephora and they last a long time, you only need a small amount.

As for other things, I suggest buying blotting papers. Preferably, those without powder on the sheets.
If you're getting shiny, there's oil on your face and adding a layer of powder will mattify you but it can end up making you look cakey.

You can find a good amount of brands that have blotting sheets but the cheapest thing would be getting end wraps for perming, these are pretty much the same material and help soak up oil as well.
You can get a box with 1,000 for about $3.

Then, after you blot you can touch up with a blotting powder and a fluffy kabuki brush.
These are a bit different, a good amount of brands have a blotting powder.
They're different from powder foundation, setting powder etc.
These commonly come in a pressed format (since they're for touch ups) they're quite finely milled, very little to no color and tend to have more ingredients that help control oil.

I see a lot of people using powder foundation as a touch up powder when they get oily and it ends up making them look very cakey and doesn't even help with shine for long because it's a powder foundation and tends to have silicones in it.

I quite like the MAC Blot powder ever since they added the Kaolin in it which really helps with the oil. Another one is the Cover FX blotting powder although I didn't find it worked quite as good. NYX also has a blotting powder.

I've been suggesting Physicians Formula to a lot of girls, because it really works well for me. I usually use the concealer, then the liquid foundation, then the powder foundation over it all. It ends up lasting a while, and it looks so smooth and perfect. :)
