I'm not sure that they even sell these at Sephora, but EcoTools are great for all brushes 😊

When I'm not using a beauty blender I like to use a flat top buffing brush for my foundation. I feel like this type of brush keeps the coverage for the foundation without sheering it out like a beauty blender can do.

What type are you using now?

Also, the type of foundation you use would be helpful. Some brushes are better for certain formulations. Sheer, medium or full coverage? Do you have normal oily, combo or skin. And also is it oil based or water based?

My go to brushes for Foundation are definitely the Hakuhodo G5556 and the Kevyn Aucoin foundation brush.
Both always make my foundation apply flawlessly... and the Hakuhodo G5556 is so multi-functional! I've used it for powder products... to apply highlighter, concealer, etc.
The Kevyn Aucoin... it's just such a sturdy brush and it literally applies the product blended! He makes great brushes and they're so sturdy! I expect this one to last forever!
Both of these were recommended by Professional Make Up artist Jacqueline H. She knows brushes down to a T.. construction, quality of hair, how different hair types affect the finish, and history. She is like the professor of brushes, if you really want to invest in a good brushes for the long term I recommend speaking to her!

I really enjoy the Artis Oval 8! It's super dense so it spreads foundation very well without absorbing a lot of product. This allows it to preserve the coverage of the product. It's spreads, but it doesn't sheer out like some brushes do with foundation. And since it's so big, it covers a larger surface area very quickly which is a big plus to me as I don't have a lot of time in the morning. It's my go to for everyday because it's quick, easy, and provides flawless application. :)
