I stayed in today and felt like wearing makeup to see the wear of it.
I washed my face in the morning then applied some Cetaphil lotion by rubbing it into my face.
Around 4-4:30 p.m., I dabbed my face with toilet paper to suck up excess oil left behind from both my skin oils and lotion.
I then pressed in Loreals Magic Perfecting Base Primer into my skin. I let it set, then dotted Mac Studio Fix Fluid onto my face and buffed it into my skin with Mac's #170 brush. I let this layer set, and slightly stippled a bit more foundation on certain areas of my face.
After, I pressed in Studio Fix powder on certain areas of my face. Followed this by Palladio's Translucent Rice Powder with a powder puff.
3 hours later, my makeup on my nose, around my nose and sides of my nose/cheek area, the foundation is literally slipping off. I slightly wipe with my finger, and it all wipes off :(. This has been happening for a while now, and I don't know what it is.
I exfoliate once or twice a week, depending on how much makeup I wear, mosturize in the day and night, use deep cleansing make every 3 weeks, drink a lot of water and eat healthy Mon - Friday. Idk what it is.
Help ladies :(. It's beyond frustrating.

That particular primer is kind of thick and really needs to be rubbed in and you don't need much at all.
Keep in mind that Studio Fix Powder is a foundation so using it to set your makeup may not be setting it as good as other powders could.
I suggest using a powder puff and really pressing the rice powder on your face to really set it. THEN if you need a little more color go ahead and use a big fluffy brush and lightly tap on the Studio Fix powder. That particular powder has a decent amount of silicone so it wouldn't surprise me if the silicone from the liquid is sort of... Liquifying the silicones in the studio fix powder. So you really want to set the liquid foundation first.
With studio fix fluid also make sure you're only using a small amount cause I've seen women really put that stuff on and it can effect how well it lays on the skin.

I have extremely dry skin, but whenever I have tried the studio fix products by Mac, the foundations end up falling off my face in an oily mess. Needless to say, I don't use that foundation anymore. But, that being said, I know there are a lot of people who love that particular foundation, so maybe try Auroras suggestion and use the rice powder with powder puff before the studio fix powder to see if that helps. You could also try a new foundation to see if it makes a difference. The Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation is supposed to be great for oily skin and it's affordable.

Sorry it didn't work for you Lana o:. I actually have oily skin and my skin likes it so far, but I believe it's the powder that's the issue.
I own Infallible and love it! However, it's too orange for me right now, so I have to purchase another light shade to create my perfect color match. But thanks (:.
