I use Mario Badescu seaweed cleansing soap and I don't like it. It doesn't give me a clean feeling and I just don't get even a good after feeling. But I can't say more on their other cleansers MB might have another type of cleanser that is better but I find that another product from MD does not do much either. But since the prices are not too bad it's worth to try.

I hate to come off too negative because I honestly have tried many MB products.

I don't know much about Mario Badescu, but have you looked into Perricone MD? It's awesome for sensitive skin types (:

I've loved all the Mario Badescu products I've tried! The prices are on the lower side for the quality too:)

I love them! I use the glycolic acid toner and the whitening mask and its helped my skin so much.

I love their acne products their toners and masks I've tried a bunch of their stuff like their acne wash cleanser, the drying lotion spot treatment, the drying cream, the buffering lotion spot treatment, a few of their toners like their seaweed one and the cucumber and special cucumber one - I also love their glycolic acid cleanser - it's a great AHA exfoliant - I've also tried a lot of their masks like the drying mask, the healing n soothing mask, the whitening and the flower masks - all their products I find are so great and do exactly what they claim to do - they have different spot treatments for different types of acne - cystic included (the buffering lotion is great for that) and they also give product suggestions based on your specific skin type and concerns - like I have acne and sensitive skin and psoriasis and they made great suggestions for me - so I love their stuff and find they work great for me.

Their healing n soothing mask works well for it - also look for products labeled for sensitive skin - but you can also try a different brand - Clinique and paulas choice both have specific lines that target redness.

Also the special cucumber might be a bit harsh on sensitive skin just FYI - cause I think it has alcohol in it and sulfur too if I remember.. The regular cucumber one is not as bad - and the seaweed one is also gentle

Well MB does have alcohol free products too - I don't know if you can really judge a whole company based on 2 products.
