I have light acne on my forehead and around my nose and what I want is a foundation that will make my skin appear smooth without being so heavy that it worsens my spots. I am also extremely pale, so would Urban Decay 0.5 or MAC NC15 be better for me?

I have both and the Mac one is a lot heavier then the urban decay so I would say the urban decay

Hey Natalie! The Urban Decay is definitely lighter feeling as well as much paler. I would definitely recommend trying to go in store and swatch them if you can - maybe even get a few samples! It's hard to tell from your profile pic, but the Urban Decay in.05 might even be too light for you, and you'd need a shade up :) So definitely try to get a feel for them in person!

Thank you both, didn't have a good photo on this phone sorry - I went in to MAC and they tested me as NC 15 so whatever the Urban Decay equivalent is would probably be best. Definitely plan to get the Urban one now as it's cheaper also.

I prefer the urban decay naked skin. But in all honesty I don't use a lot of Mac stuff because most of the products have a heavier consistency. So to be fair I can't say much about the foundation. But also it never hurts to try both out either. Simply because I'm one person who needs test trials before making an ultimate choice on new products.

Re: I don't use a lot of Mac stuff. That's semi a lie because I preferred Mac concealer pro long wear over naked skin concealer but that's a whole other topic!

When they tried it on me in store it did feel very heavy but it was only on one side of my face so I can't say much.

Do you know what MAC foundation you tried on specifically?

Oh, it's in your title! I thought you'd mentioned it! Never mind, I'm silly.

Findation.com is a website that compares shades across foundation lines, and it says the MAC Pro Longwear in NC15 is comparable to the Urban Decay Naked Skin in 1.0. I would still try to get in stores though if you can, because it's not always perfectly accurate!

Urban Decay most definitely!

I lobe Urban Decay Naked foundation- while it's not full coverage, it's buildable and looks like skin. And the Naked concealer is very pigmented for spot concealing.
