Of all these products I have only used the micro pencils, and I really like it! But with your tattooed brows wouldn't a brows gel, just to keep the hairs in place, be enough?

I've used the eyebrow cake powder before and I loved it! Very natural looking and for a powder it was very long wearing (:

I would get both. I like to a clean edge, not sharp or carved out, but defined. I find I can achieve that with either a pencil or a pomade. Now, I can use a pencil alone to do my whole brow look or a pomade alone. But for me, I can't achieve the look I want with a powder only. It's either a pencil alone, a pomade alone or a pencil with a pomade, or a pencil & a powder or a pomade and a powder. I guess what I'm saying is, I like a powder as a "filler" only. But again, this is just me. If you like a soft-edged brow, you can use a powder alone.

@Sabrina, they get a little bit covered when I wear makeup cause I can't even deal trying to be precise with my foundation so I do my brows last, and my tattoos right now are still a work in progress, I go back for my touch up in 2 weeks to fix any patches that didn't hold pigment :) and I don't have much brow hair to begin with haha!
@ Alexis, that's good news! I'd definitely use it over some sort of brow wax or pomade I think I'm just really searching for something that I can still build up to opaque and defined but not dark, I want them to look on the warmer side, etc. :) I love how the shades look in the Nyx palette though plus for 10$ can't really go wrong for a change haha! :)

@Marleen, I definitely get what you mean, I usually use a tinted brow wax and powder on top before I'll be satisfied with how they're looking, I can't stand patches in my brows haha. I definitely prefer pomades and brow waxes apposed to powder alone, just looking for some new products that are on the warm side cause my brows always look so dark haha! :) x

Haha for sure! I feel like the brow tattoos are better for people who had no brows or little to none like I did, they're managing to grow out a bit since having the tattoo done but I can't really say if I'm 100% happy with them yet cause there's a couple of things with the shape that I'm going to have her fix but they're 100% worth it, I don't have to put my brows on everyday anymore so that's good lol.

Hey Shaye! I know we have similar eyebrow coloring (lol, what a weird sentence), and he micro brow pencil in auburn was much too red toned for me. However, things are always hard to tell over the Internet, and I did really like the formula! The ABH dipbrow in Auburn is a good color, and I use this product every day (with a powder on top) so it's definitely something I've enjoyed. There's a bit of a learning curve, but as you've probably heard, a light hand is key. I haven't tried the other products you mentioned, but I hope this helps!

I haven't tried the powder or the pencil from nyx, but I have tried the pomade from Nyx and found it VERY comparable to anastasias dipbrow. the consistency is slightly thicker but the application and wear is real close.

I have their brow pencil and the brow cake - I personally prefer the pencil because it's just easier to work with and less time consuming for me - but the brow cake is nice too especially if you want two tones and a wax in a very inexpensive kit.

Shaye the Mac shade red head was disappointing for me since it was more of a ashy blonde. I have the Anastasia pencil shade auburn which I'm wearing in my default pic and it's used with Kat von D shadow. You may have to mix product's to get the shade right for yourself. :)
