I have dry skin and am looking for a new foundation but I also have breakouts and some redness that I would like to cover are there any foundations out there that will cover but not cling to dry patches?

I have dry sensitive skin and Too Faced Born this Way foundation is my HG.. It's the best foundation I've ever used. I also have acne prone skin and it does not break me out :) It does not cling to dry patches and it does not dry you out and last all day. I love it so much! Defiantly give this foundation a try :)

As a fellow dry skin makeup lover, most of the foundations for us are not full coverage. I personally use a good medium coverage foundation and leave it up to my concealer to do the heavy concealing work. Set the concealer area only with powder so you don't dry out the rest of the face :)

I agree with Jasmine. Full coverage for dry skin is tough. I also rely on concealer with a medium, sometimes medium to full foundation. When I do choose to use a full coverage foundation, I'll either add some facial oil to it or just mix in a moisterizing medium coverage with a full coverage to create a blend.

I really like the Custom Cover drops from CoverFX.
You only need about 4-5 drops for full coverage and you can mix them with moisturizer, primer and other bases or add to a foundation for more coverage.

I would recommend using it with a good, rich moisturizer.
Get about a nickel sized amount and then add about 4-5 drops and you'll get that fuller coverage and it shouldn't cling to dry patches.
I think it works great with the CeraVe moisturizing cream which is an amazing product for very dry skin but their Moisturizing lotion woks good too, it's lighter but still quite moisturizing.

I have dry skin and the too faced born this way does not work for me. At all. Definitely get a few samples for every foundation recommended to you before buying the whole bottle. I wish I would have done that with the BTW :(
