I have some problems with my foundation shades- when I use some of them they always end up with a very yellow-y or orange cast. I get color matched all the time by Mac and Sephora and go with their recommendations as well as friends and my own opinion. The color always matches but when I apply it it looks orange ish. at first I thought it was an oxidation problem so I bought a ton of lighter foundations but then I look like a total ghost. I've also tried mixing foundations. I've tried literally everything, but I'm not sure what to do anymore to fix it. Any help and/or recommendations are appreciated! Thanks so much.

Getting foundation in stores can be off. the lighting depending on the store isn't the best. best to test a foundation outside in the natural lighting. and depending on your skin tone maybe a foundation with a pink undertone would work better for you.

If you find that a foundation looks too yellow or orange you may need to mix a little bit of purple or blue because it sounds to me like you may have a more neutral undertone.
If a foundation is too yellow, add a little bit of a lavender of lilac eyeshadow and mix it together and test it out on your face.
If you find a product is orange, add a light blue product, mix together and test it out.
It's best to test it out.
