Can anyone recommend facial exfoliator for sensitive skin with mild rosacea?

Hey girls! I have a very sensitive skin with mild rosacea, I tend to flush sometimes and many products can irritate my skin and make it more red. Currently I am using a milk cleanser and a moisturizer from Estee Lauder's Verite line, but am looking for a exfoliating scrub because I have some blackheads on my nose and it's so embarrassing.
I look forward to your suggestions! <3

I'm not an expert when it comes to skincare but I feel like an exfoliating scrub would irritate your skin further due to the physical exfoliation. Maybe a charcoal mask applied to the area where blackheads are a problem might be a better solution?

I use half coconut oil and half baking soda. It's amazing :)

Sorry HazelCharlene but I really wouldn't use Baking Soda on skin. Baking Soda is alkaline and skin's natural Ph is slightly acidic so using something like baking soda could really throw off your Ph and irritate your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin already!

I also have rosacea and twice or thrice a week, I either use my Clarisonic Mia 2 on low with a mild cleanser (like cerave or cetaphil) or I use the same cleaner and just gently rub a wet washcloth over my skin to remove the cleanser and exfoliate in one step. Grainy scrubs are too much for my skin!

A chemical exfoliant would be your best bet in both cases - an AHA is gentle enough for rosacea and can also target mild acne/blackheads - a BHA will work better for the blackheads but could irritate your rosacea depending on how much of the active ingredient is present - I would suggest you look into the chemical exfoliants from paulas choice redness relief line - I'm currently using her 1% BHA and I find it to be gentle enough to not dry out my psoriasis but also strong enough to clear my pores of blackheads and pimples.

I'd say get a mild liquid facial soap or a step 3 from Clinique which is technically considered a "toner" but its actually a mild exfoliator and its fragrance free and dermatology tested so it shouldn't irritate your skin! :)

I would also recommend using a chemical exfoliant! I love the dermologica daily microfoliant. It is gentle enough for rosacea but will still give you an exfoliation!
