Okay so I got an Artis Brush Set for my birthday last week; and I loveeee them! I never would have bought them for myself because of the price but they are awesome and worth it! Anyways does anyone know how to clean them? This is my first expensive brush set and I don't want to ruin them. I know they sell a brush cleanser and a cleansing pad but is it worth it? With all of my other brushes I have tried brush cleaners from Elf and Sephora and never liked them, so I just used dish soap or baby soap and never had a problem; but I don't know what to do with these...?

I'm not sure Lisa, maybe check out youtube... I feel like since its sooo pricy, I wouldnt take a chance and I would get the artis cleaner. I would just worry about using baby/dish soap on them.

Maybe you can even email the company and ask if its ok for you to do, if itll wear down faster, or other alternatives

Nice Birthday gift, and happy belated birthday.
Do not use baby shampoo or dish soap with these brushes. As you know, the Artis brushes are super, super and super dense. If you use the soap and water method, your brushes will take at least 4 days to dry out. Don't use solvent cleansers either: Parian Spirit, Cinema Secrets, etc. etc. For these brushes, I really would invest in the cleansing pad and their cleansing foam. The cloths are reusable, but they do sell replacements as well. All you have to do is hand wash the cloth and let it air dry. If you aren't using these brushes on others, I would recommend changing the cloth after 10-13 washes.
All you do is squeeze a bit of the cleansing foam onto the cloth. Of course the larger Oval 10, 8 and 6 will require more foam than any of the other brushes. Once you get the foam on the cleansing cloth, move the brush in circular motions(hold the brush by the head, not the handle). After a few circular passes, the brush should rub clean. I swipe it on a clean towel to check. If there's still any remaining debris, then I'll use a tad more foam till the brush rubs clean. Once it's clean wait a few minutes, and it should be completely dry and ready to use again. ;)

Sorry for getting back late on this. But thank you so much, very helpful!! I didn't think about youtube or even the fact that they will take longer to dry than my other brushes! I think I am going to buy the cleansing pad and brush cleanser. Thanks again!!
