Okay ya'll so I have been using Dior Nude Serum for a few months now and I love it; however, I feel like it isn't lasting all day like it should. I love the coverage and I don't feel like I am wearing makeup, which is awesome because I have basically only worn mineral makeup over the last four years because I have extremely dry skin and I usually hate how most foundations feel.
Anyways, I've tried several different primers and moisturizers with this foundation (and yes I wait a while before applying foundation to let it sink in, I actually do my foundation last because of eye makeup) so thats not my problem. My foundation looks great for a few hours and then after a while it looks like I didn't even put foundation on. My face just looks blah and my blemishes and dark circles really start showing through. I typically don't use a setting powder with this foundation because I am so dry and all the ones I have used make the foundation look weird I feel like I don't really need one either because I have no oil. I also am not much of a fan of setting sprays and have used a couple but it didn't help this issue.
So what do you ladies think I should do to fix this issue? I have thought about trying Laura Merciers Setting Powder but I don't know if it would still look cakey like the other powders I have used with it (Bare Minerals Mineral Veil, L'Oreal, UD, Rimmel, and Makeup Forever). I really like the foundation and it was expensive so I would like to still use it, I just wish it stayed like it does for few hours before it starts to fade...
I have also considered switching and maybe trying to Dior Glow Foundation but I will have to order because nowhere around me sells it...

I absolutely love the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, it doesn't look powdery on the skin and you only need to use a little bit of it plus it doesn't completely mattify your foundation so if your foundation has a glow/radiance to it then it'll still show through with that powder (:

Thanks Alexis ☺️. Thats good to know because I definitely prefer a dewy or glow finish!

You're welcome! I bought the travel size of it and it's lasted me forever since you don't need that much of it (:
