Hi all, I have had botox done for my eyebrow yesterday. I found on various websites that I shouldn’t rub/touch my eyebrow for 24 hours where some other sites say a duration of 48 hours, 72 hours and even 4 days also. I’m really confused. Do you people know when can I actually touch my brow? I can’t do a cleansing, moisturizing etc as I can’t touch my brow. Suggestions, please.

Hey Maria, the best option you'd have would be to contact the med clinic that did your Botox. There's different treatments that require different down times, so going off of someone else's recommendation may not work out. Your med clinic may even be using a formula that doesn't even require downtime. Did they give you any sort of instructions?

I know it isn't the same deal however I recently had my brows tattooed and I also was pretty confused on the aftercare after reading other places recommendations on healing however, if the person you went to for your Botox gave you any instructions I would just take their advice instead of stressing about what you're reading online, or like kitty said your best option if they didn't give you any aftercare information would be to call and ask.

I receive Botox for migraines and prior to the visit, my skin must be perfectly clean. Afterwards, no cleansing, touching, exercising (sweat) for 24 hours. It's a different procedure than yours, but you can't be too cautious with cleanliness!

And I agree with Kitty that you should contact your practitioner and go by his/her guidelines.
