I am a nail biter. I really want the long nails that you see in pictures, but I don't know how to end my bad habit! Any tips?

Paint them! Nail polish doesn't taste good so you'll get out of the habit:)

I'm struggling with the same problem. I have a few suggestions. Start by getting a no-bite nail polish. I use one from orly right now but there's tons of different ones that work just the same. The only thing with these is they tend to come off pretty easily so I'd suggest re-applying it daily to make sure it's potent enough to do it's job. Also make sure to keep your cuticles moisturized and pushed back. Burts Bees has a good and affordable one that you can keep with you. Put it on once or twice a day to keep your cuticles from drying out. Also find a plastic cuticle pusher or wooden stick and push back your cuticles. Don't cut them. This will ensure there's no skin for you to want to bite off and keep your nails away from your mouth. Also you should carry around a nail file in case you do bite your nails, you can quickly correct it by filing the jagged edges. I find when my nails are smooth and there's no skin sticking up around my nails, there's not as much of a reason to put my hands in my mouth. Once you make it two or three weeks without biting your nails you should start painting them with polish. I tend not to bite if there's polish on them. If it chips or comes off, fix them as soon as possible. If you have the means, getting a gel manicure is good because it stays on longer and it's a nice thick barrier on your nails. Just be conscious of when you bite and try your hardest to stop. Sorry this is so long I just had a lot to say! Let me know if you have any questions 😊💅🏻
