I have fair/medium skin. It is also oily and I suffer from acne. I want to wear makeup but I don't know how to apply it correctly. Can someone help me?

You'll need a primer to smooth out the surface of your acne, a good concealer to hide the acne and a full coverage foundation. The real techniques stippling brush works wonders :)

primer, apply it with a large brush ( ones from target work good, no need for MAC ) and you can start with some foundation which you can lightly apply with your hands and/or large brush. and maby some light powder on top.
