Darker red lipstick for paler complextion.

Do any of you ladies know of a good rich deep red color that wouldnt make me look washed out? Several red lip colors I've tried make me look so pale, and I'm already pale enought! Any suggestions greatly appreciated. (Ps. Not a fan of matte lipsticks. I prefer smooth glossy ones.) thanks in advance!

My favourite red is Nars Majella and I'm fairly pale.

I find applying lipstick and then applying blush and eye makeup after helps balance my face and prevent me from looking washed out.

I think Russian Red(it's matte though but not drying) from MAC would look good or the MAC Red which is a satin and it's a lovely red.
These types of reds look different on everyone. I find they look darker on me compared to people who have a deeper complexion so since you're lighter than me I'm sure it'll look darker.

The thing is, darker colors in general will make someone look lighter and can give a washed out appearance.
I know a lot of fair skin girls like that contrast but in general I find it washes them out, personally.
I think trying a medium dark type of red like the ones I mentioned.
They'll look darker against your skintone for the most part and give that look
