I have the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder and I absolutely love it.
Looking for more suggestions that are great for mattifying and setting concealer

I love Laura mercier but I've heard great things about kvd new setting powder. And it's a pretty big size for $30

ELF was just alright. It was very matte drying and gave me flashback. Doesn't compare to Laura mercier at all imo.

Depends on your skin type.
RCMA is good if you have normal to slightly oily or slightly dry skin.
BEN NYE neutral set is good if you have normal skin to slightly oily to slightly dry AND if you perspire.
if you're oily, I really like the Palladio Rice powder which is quite cheap and very mattifying even when I'm oily and used a cream foundation geared more toward dry skin.
if you have dry skin a lot of people recommended the MAC care blend? I think that's the name.
I would NOT suggest using a powder marketed as "HD" these tend to have a lot of silica or are pure silica and it isn't even meant to be used as a setting powder. These are finishing powder that go over everything (setting powder included) with a tiny amount to give a soft focus. It's not very mattifying, at least not on my very oily skin, in fact it's meant to give you skin a slight glow which makes your makeup look a little more like skin with a semi matte type of finish. using it as a setting powder can cause a very grey face or in 99% of cases with give very bad flashback

I have combination but mostly oily skin. I don't think you can get the rcma powder in Canada? I could be wrong. I only see it online for US dollars. then with the conversion and shipping it ends up being so expensive.
