I'm growing my hair out to donate it to charity, and I'm hoping to get it cut soon. The problem is, I straighten my hair a lot and I don't want to damage the hair I'm donating any further. But I cannot stand the way my hair naturally sits. It's like it can't make up its mind on whether it wants to be straight, wavy or curly. It's just not a nice look on me. So with that in mind, I'm trying to think of new ways to put my hair up so I can avoid straightening it. I normally do a ponytail but even that annoys me with my natural hair. I'm going to try to get good at french braids (I can do one on either side but not one big one in the middle for some weird reason) but does anybody have any other suggestions? I just need quick, easy hairdos that'll keep my hair completely out the way. Thank you in advance! :)

I wear my hair down and just clip it back and will also sometimes use of one of those plastic hairbands to keep it off my face. Sometimes I just use the hairband.
