I'd describe my style as "classic". I'm not about trends really (though I am a fan of some of the '90s revival trends that seem to be going around) and prefer to spend my money on classic pieces that will last. I love tailoring but I also like more slouchy casual looks too.
In terms of people whose style I really like, I like how Taylor Swift and Blake Lively dress and I also love Audrey Hepburn.
Any ideas ladies?

Wear heels with this and a long, buttoned down, any color shirt if it matches the skirt

I wear these kinds of skirts a lot, usually with a blouse under a jumper so that the collar pokes out and looks pretty. Also with ribbed t-shirts and half sleeve turtleneck tops - New Look have cute ones that are really affordable! Around the?7-10 mark!

Rebecca, I love Audrey Hepburn as well!! As for styling the skirt, you could do either a "dress up" or "dress down." To dress it up, a peter pan collared blouse, button down blouse, or a turtleneck sweater tucked into the skirt is very classy. To dress the skirt down, a simple non-graphic t-shirt or a t-shirt with a small little v-neck would work! Even some graphic tees with simple cursive writing on them or a pretty saying work tucked into these types of skirts. As for shoes, any type of pumps, wedges, or heeled sandals would look great!
