Hi there Beauties!
So today as I was getting ready, my boyfriend asked me the question "why do you wear makeup when you don't need it?" Which is a good question, but my response was simple that I like it and it's almost like a hobby. But it got me thinking about why I really do wear makeup.
I think it definitely is a hobby and I truly enjoy playing around with it but it also gives me this boost of confidence. Something that I don't have when I don't wear makeup. I can leave my house without makeup and I can wear as little or as much as I want and not feel insecure, but it still makes me slightly more confident in myself.
So here is a makeup free selfie (sorry I was in the shower 😁) and I'd like to challenge you ladies to post a makeup free selfie and maybe share why you love makeup and why you wear it!

And makeup! I tend to only wear it when I'm going out though really and to be completely honest I only put it on cause it makes me feel sort of feel more intimidating (not really the word) but I like it lol!

And with makeup. As enthusiastic as I am about makeup I actually don't wear it everyday so when I do wear makeup I go hard, lol. I used to be very self conscious about my skin, which is why I started getting into makeup in the first place, but after getting older and starting to take proper care of my skin I grew to love my skin the way it is. I still love makeup because of the creativity of it and I love transforming myself with it, which is why I wear it (:
