Hey guys! I'm obsessed with backcombing my hair ( flat hair for me is my biggest beauty fear! Oh and patchy tan! ) but anyways! How can I backcomb safely?? Apparently it can damage the hair over time.

Use a round brush instead. If it gets flat over time spray hair spray over the brush and brush. You could also put your head upside down and brush it like that.

Instead of backcombing why don't you try blowdrying you hair upside down or letting your hair air dry in a high ponytail.
Maybe be a little more gentle or use soft strokes to backcomb if you don't wanna do what I said.

You could also sleep with your hair in a loose bun. That always gives me mega volume.

Sleep in rollers!! Over direct them so you will have LOTS of volume. I used to set my hair in rollers (the big ones) and heat them up and let them cool while I do my makeup.
