It depends on how dark your hair is now that's like a level 5 maybe 4 I'd say so if your darker your going to have to get a red the same level if you don't want to use vleach because color won't lift color

I'm with Hailey. Bleaching your hair one or two levels will ultimately be less damaging than a high lift color. Sounds counterintuitive, but since you don't need to go blonde to achieve the desired color, there's no need for a high concentration of peroxide.
