You should completely stay away from heat styling if your hair is damaged. Do your highlighted hairs easily snap off? I fit does your hair is fried from bleach. Do deep hair moisturising masks and use shampoo that's gentle free from paraben and sulfate

If your hair is so damage you can change that with products - you have to cut of the damage part and then start to take good care of the healthy parts. That can be done with the suggestions that Delara said, no heat, hair masks, good shampoo and conditioner and so on :)

What I usually do it wash my hair and then I wrap it in a towel for 20 mins then I take it out and I brush my hair so it's still wet ish but it's straight and I'll leave it to dry like that!

Agree with Sabrina damage can only be prevented not treated - you have to cut it off and start with healthy hair and take good care of it - there are a few methods to straighten hair without heat - but you could also just use a good heat protectant spray before you apply heat and then use a moisturizing serum afterwards or an oil like argan or jojoba oil

Buy a leave in conditioner and if you have long hair kind of do a braid not to tight before going to sleep

Don't use shampoo for a week, wash your hair with conditioner only. Cut your hair the most you can. Do not use heat. You could also use the A phogee 2 step protein treatment every six weeks.

If you blow dry on cool and comb your hair out when wet it'll be strength

I use Karmin hair tools and I sent this to my granddaughter who has fairly long curly hair and she wanted to straighten w/o heat, might help you http://www.karminhairtools.com/advice/how-to-straighten-hair-without-heat.html.

The best conditioner in the world is a haircut, I would also recommend washing with something that has keratin in it for repair. No hot tools, and coconut oil treatments could do you some good as well.
