I got a daith piercing on Monday, and it's so sore. I don't now how to make it not as sore. I clean it twice a day with the cleaning solution sold by the place I got it pierced.

Its through some very thick cartilage which explains why it hurts and takes longer to heal than a regular earlobe piercing. it hasn't really been that long yet, its normal to have pain. but don't stop cleaning it.

It's normal to be sore for a while. You can put an ice pack on it and take ibuprofen to help with the inflamation. In addition to cleaning it twice a day, a saline soak for around 10-15 minutes a day will also help a lot.

Cartilage piercings take longer to heal, so it's normal to have soreness for at least 4 weeks, possibly more. As long as you're cleaning it regularly you should be fine!
