I've been considering buying lip tar because I want a long lasting lip color for every day use. I've been to multiple sites reading about this product and seen mostly good reviews. What do you girls think about the product?

I must warn you that this can be very drying. I found out the hard way. Prior to application its best to exfoliate lips because the lip tars will show flaky skin galore. And before application of the liptar I would apply a thin layer of Chapstick then apply tar. And when you remove it at the end of the day apply a moisturizing lip balm.

I love love love my OCC liptars. All 22 of them ;) I use a good lip balm (Fresh lip treatment), lip tars (a pindrop size on a lip brush) and top it with a long wearing lipgloss (urban decay). Lasts literally all day. Although I have never had problem with liptars being drying on my lips, I do see that it is a common complaint and the common reason for people to stop or return the liptar.
