For the past 4 years, I have been using a specific loose powder to set my face after makeup and I can't believe I havent shared this yet...cornstarch!
I have been using cornstarch as powder sometimes with a small brush to target just my foreheads, under the eyes and sides of my nose, or if I need my makeup to stay, I would use my damp sponge. You really don't need a lot and both ways make the skin look so soft, matte and, the best part is, it doesn't make my dry skin look cakey.
Actually, the best part is that it's just $2.97 for a whole tub and it lasts forever!!
I've seen people use alcohol to press down the cornstarch and use it as a pressed cornstarch powder but I like it loose form.

I use cornstarch sometimes as a paste when my eczema is acting up and it helps soothe it. So, I believe it is safe for sensitive skin. AND it never broke me out!:)

I use my maybelline fit me dewy and smooth foundation and sometimes it is just way too dewy and light coverage. If you girls have this problem, try mixing the foundation with something cornstarch! I do this when I perform in my school, and it stays matte the whoollee time without drying my skin out. It also amplifies the coverage of the foundation as well.
