Okay. I am 17, and I have never had acne before, but recently I have noticed little bumps on my cheeks. Please tell me the best way to get rid of them from your personal experience, and the best way to hide them. I was thinking of the L'oréal BB cream, the smashbox BB cream, or the maybelline BB cream. Please tell me which is best. I also have fair/medium skin if that helps any. The bumps are a little bit red. :(
Thanks guys!!! :)))

Um I would suggest maybelline cream or l'oreal bb cream but you might want to try clearing it up first I would suggest clean and clear acne cleanser

I started getting acne when I was like in the 4th grade, I told my mom I need to do something so it wouldn't get horrible. She said " you're too young to get acne, it's not a pimple you'll be fine" I wish she would have listened to me because I've had such bad acne ever since (I'm 13 (14 on the 28th) ) if I would have started cleansing my face then, this wouldn't have happened! I'm telling to start washing your face regularly now! So you don't end up having acne forever like me! I too have fair, sensitive, OILY skin. I use Acne Free's cleansing system for severe acne ( they also have regular and sensitive) it comes in a box (it's like Proactiv but my mom hasn't decided on buying it yet) it works wonders! And you can get it from Walmart! (Use at morning and at night) I also use Clean&Clear dual action moisturizer which also works amazingly. If you have blackheads I recommend Clean&Clear blackhead eraser. Another exfoliated I use is QC apricot scrub (it makes your skin REALLY soft:D) when I need to cleanse my face before a mask, or putting makeup on, I use Noxzema anti-bacterial cleanser, and I highly recommend Queen Helene's mint julep mask, you can also use it for spot treatment overnight. You can also find a million great DIY mask that I use on YouTube, check it out! I really hope I help! Good luck!

Acnes plagued me since I was 12! Drink water stay away from greasy foods and sugary stuff! Stay out of the sun! Tanning is a temporary coverup to your skins issues and will only destroy your skin in the process. Use benzoyl peroxide for spot treatment u can buy this at any drugstore just look for the ingredient on the label. And for coverup i swear by clinique redness solutions theres an array of shades so try one out! I hope this helps !! I also use birth control to keep my acne flareups to a minimum! See a doc if you can! Xox!

I wish my mom would let me see a dermatologist, because I take such good care of my skin and still it's super oily and my acne never goes away, it just slows down a bit! She tells me if I take care of my skin and it doesn't work, she would make an appointment (she used to have to go to the dermatologist regularly) and she still hasn't called .____. But trust me, it's not serious, you don't need to go unless it just doesn't go away even after you cleanse your face regularly

The dermatologist saved my skin. I had tried everything since middle school and the prescription ointment I use is called Tazorac (sorry if I mis-spelled that). It helps with small bumps that your experience and I used spot treatments on more severe places on my skin. I also use Aveno Clear Complexion foaming cleanser. It goes on as a foam, but transfers almost milky like. Then a simple moisturizer is a must. Also I take a supplement for hair, nails, and skin and that helps.

Savanna, your acne is most likely hormonal because of your age if you're only 13. I know it sucks but I got acne when I was 12 and over the years it has settled down. Yours could be because of puberty and hormones, so I wouldn't stress too much because it may go away as you get older. Still continue to take care of your skin, and if you do get to go to a dermatologist then definitely take advantage of it, but just know that it might be related to that

I agree with Caitlin. Acne and the way your skin looks is usually a reflection of your hormones, too low or too high, or your diet. If you are using the right products and using them religiously, it will clear up, but I would suggest always using a moisturizer, exfoliate a few times a week, and always cleanse ur face. Figure out I u have any food allergies if you can, and go to dermatologist if you have the means to that.

I love Clean N Clear Triple Advantage kit. It has a cleanser, moisturizer, and spot treatment. It clears me up within a week. Don't give up!! It'll get worse before it gets better!!

Fresh Umbrian Clay Treatment Bar! Its a mask and spot treatment in one(: I use it 2 times a week. It makes ur skin brighter, makes ur skin less oily, it makes ur pimples disappear quicker, and doesnt make ur hurt. It doesnt contain any chemicals and it 100% natural. Sadly, it is pricy but lasted me for over a year(: You could only purchase this at sephora(sometimes instore, always online). Good luck!(:

WASH YOUR FACE. It helps so much. Do it in the morning and at night and follow it with a moisturizer. If you still have a problem then use a concealer that matches your skin tone.

Taking a pinch of coconut oil and a pinch of baking soda. Mixing them together and then washing your face with that. It smooths out your face and the coconut oil will put moister into your skin. Might help you.

DON'T USE LOREAL U CAN'T TRUST IT IN THE LONG RUN!!!! Use murad from sephora in the blue container it's a bit expensive but should last at least 6 months.

If they're just spots I'd use Clean & Clear's Advantage acne spot treatment. It works quick and you can get it pretty much anywhere!

First and foremost it doesn't matter how great of care u take of your skin if you are destined for acne you will get it. Try not to use too many products on your face either. It's just going to irritate things and make it worse. I swear by proactive as cheesy as it sounds. I had horrible acne and it really did help
