Dear beautiful women,
I am a sewer and have been sewing for about 2 years now. I would like to ask if you or someone you know makes clothes too. If so, share what you make. ;)

I don't know if this topic will be allowed here but anyway! I am not a sewer exactly but my mom has a sewing machine and also a hand-loom! so I know the process of weaving of clothes and the sewing as well. she used to make exact same dresses for me and my sister! I however personally love delicate hand embroidery. I used to do a lot of them on different ethnic Indian dresses, now I hardly can manage the time :-( if you want to see, I will post some pics after reaching home today :-)

That picture is awesome! How long did it take and what was the process? My cousin made me a really cute needlepoint sign for Christmas and it made me want to look for a beginners kit so I can give needlepointing a go. Do you know the differences between embroidering and needlepointing? I haven't done any research yet so I know nothing about either technique.

Hello Victoria, for the picture in the frame it took me at least one week! but it can be done sooner, this is not needlepoint it's just free flow hand embroidery, I personally have not done needlepoint but I have done crossstich before but I prefer to free hand embroidery as it gives me more flexibility to be creative. but this kit comes with good direction. it was an intermediate level of kit but I am sure you will find smaller more basic ones!

I'm attempting to be! I made a few skirts for summer so far but I want to get to the point of designing all my own clothes one day.
