I think when one decides to start wearing makeup it's different for everyone and it's easier if you start slowly. If you have good skin, then don't mess with foundation. Maybe a little neutral blush. Usually girls will start out with mascara and of you do, I suggest a natural looking one like the ones that market themselves as giving you well, soft and natural lashes. Maybelline, Neutrogena and I believe Covergirl all have their versions of these type of mascaras. I don't think you should wear makeup just for the sake of wearing makeup. I would suggest taking a look at your face and pick out a couple of features you want to either enhance or detract from. Like if you have dark circles, then start with concealer etc. Just remember that when you decide to start wearing makeup, doesn't mean you have to wear a full face of makeup.

The maybelline dream bb cream is my favorite! It's medium coverage on my skin and it stays on all day. I apply it with my fingers

I am 13 and I started last year. I wear eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss. But it depends on your skin. I use Clinique makeup because I can get it easy, it's good quality, and it's cheap!

Start off with a bb cream, a mascara, and maybe a tinted lip balm? I'm 13 but I actually wear a lot of makeup but I started 2 years ago... I agree with Emma, ELF is good for beginners. It's cheap and pretty easy to use. I also think that investing in a good Sephora mascara is always good :-)
