Deff mac soft and gentle! I use it as a highlighter or as an eyeshadow. I love it! It is intense so watch out that you don't over apply; p.

I didn't know Sailor but I remember Marleen sharing a pic of new Laura geller highlighter I believe wasn't out yet in store's but she was able to get it through QVC I think. Hopefully she can clarify. I agree Jackie you got me hooked on Kevyn Aucoin celestial powder candlelight and it's beautiful! I also love his starlight one too. :)

I do have the new Laura Geller Rose Gold and although I really like it, it doesn't give an intense highlight. I would consider it more of a "Illuminator".

Please take into consideration my skintone which os a warm medium with a slight olive skintone. I say this because skintone is important when choosing a highlighter. Some highlighters will be intense on medium skin and will give a natural effect on a very tanned skin, etc. So my favorite intense highlighters, at least for me would be my Bobbi Brown Pink Glow (more like warm nude rose depending on the one you get, since it's a mosaic, they're all different), my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Beige (a peachy beige, but more of a neutral beige) and my Mally Lit From Within Blush/Highlighter duo (you get a choice of pink or peach blush but the highlighter is the same, an intense true gold). This gold shade is my most intense highlighter. It's a lighter gold than Laura Geller's Gilded Honey which I feel has a touch of amber in it. The Gilded Honey and Mallys pretty much run neck & neck as far as intensity but I think it's because the Mally one Is a lighter gold (true gold) that it appears more intense.

The Kevyn Aucoin (the man did no wrong ever) highlighters in Candlelight and Starlight are my favs. Very little texture, if any, and they can create a soft glow or be built up to an intense highlight. They are GORGEOUS! I use Candlelight on my brides.
