How often can I use this exfoliating gel?

So I got this exfoliating gel to try and I am loving it! its like the lazy girl way to wash face lol..all it requires is I leave it on for 1 to 3 minutes n wash off. no massaging no wetting face nothing. and it leaves my skin so smooth and glowing! I am loving it so far. but the tube doesn't say how often I am supposed to use it. depending on the ingredients can anyone suggest how often would it be okay to use it?

Hi Rida, this is an aha exfoliant which is actually not a cleanser or face wash. It should be used after cleansing and toning your face. as opposed to a cleanser, its propose is to smooth out the skin and reduce signs of ageing, not to remove any dirt from your skin. as it's a chemical exfoliant and not a physical one, it should be ok to use on a daily basis (after having introduced it slowly to give your skin time to adjust). as it says on the label, always make sure to wear sunscreen daily when using this product, due to the exfoliation your skin will become a lot more sensitive to the sun.

Yeah I understand its not a face wash...I am just wishing there was a face wash that worked like this for daily use :-D
I am using it twice a week for now...will gradually increase its usage!

Is it an enzyme exfoliant? Sometimes they need to be applied to completely dry skin. Either way, no more than twice weekly.
