I've been trying to find a good primer for dry skin... any suggestions?

I am in love with the new Smashbox Oil Primer. It's definitely different from most primers, but similar to the Hourglass #28 Serum Primer. Although the Smashbox one doesn't have any silicone in it. It's not for everyone, but If you have extremely dry, dehydrated skin, it may just be what your skin is craving. I would get a sample first and follow the application instructions.

I've been trying out new primers lately and here are the ones I've used with a mini review:
L'Oreal Magic Lumi- This stuff is awesome for the price. It makes my skin glow; I do have some creasing (in between brows & small laugh lines) but it still does better at helping keep my foundation on for a long period of the day.
Hourglass: Amazing!! But it causes me to have breakouts. Easily my top two best primers I have used. I highly recommend getting a travel size (which last forever) to see if you like it.
Embryolisse: Amazing! This is the other of my top two fav's. BUT, this gave me an awful rash! I am allergic to this I guess! But for the one and half week I used this, my skin/makeup looked awesome. I wish I could wear it!!
Smashbox new Oil Primer: This one is really nice! I don't like their regular primers that are sio popular; but this and also the Water Primer is awesome too!
Now I've tried a ton of others but these have definitely made my top list of primers I have used so far. Everyone is different though so you have to play around and see what works for you. I recommend using CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and Moisturizing Lotion or Cream (depending on your dryness; the cream is thicker and better for severe dryness).
Here are primers I have tried but didn't like, but don't let this discourage you because some people with dryness have success with these:
Stila Aqua Glow, Benefit Porefessionals, Too Faced Hangover, Makeup Forever Hydrating, Tarte, Elf, Nyx, CoverFx Illuminating, Maybelline Baby Skin, Sephora Collection, and I'm sure I'm leaving something out...

I recomend the sephora one, it's not too expensive and it's really nice for dry skin.
